House in the island near the beach

The project aims not only to be a functional and aesthetically pleasing architectural work but also a model of sustainability and respect for the local environment, promoting a harmonious relationship between humans and nature. One of the fundamental aspects of the design is the preservation of the mangrove characteristic of the site, which will remain untouched and be integrated as an essential component of the proposed pathway. The goal is to create a route that allows users to enjoy the natural beauty of the mangrove, while respecting its ecosystem and fostering a deep connection with the local environment.

The central concept of the project is based on the creation of an experiential pathway that harmoniously intertwines with the existing mangrove ecosystem. This pathway is conceived as a fluid sequence that invites users to discover and appreciate the natural richness of the surroundings—the lush vegetation, the serenity of the sea, and the purity of the beaches. The mangrove, in its pristine splendor, not only defines the physical context but also becomes the enveloping element that shapes and gives coherence to the homes that will be integrated into this unique landscape.

A guiding principle of the design is the full preservation of the mangrove, an essential component of the site that will remain untouched. Far from being seen as an obstacle, the mangrove is embraced as a central feature of the pathway, enriching the spatial and sensory experience for visitors. The aim is to create a journey that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the mangrove, fostering a deep and respectful connection with this unique ecosystem. The project seeks to establish a symbiosis between architecture and nature, where human intervention is integrated in a sensitive and sustainable manner—celebrating both the fragility and the magnificence of this natural environment.

Seeking harmony between habitat and environment, the strategic layout of the homes maximizes ocean views, offers generous spaces, and fosters a close connection with the surrounding nature. The proposed pathway invites visitors to explore the richness of the mangrove, promoting its conservation and providing an immersive experience within this unique ecosystem.
